SONIC ® Drive-In
Razorfish was one of a handful of agencies that was invited to pitch for Sonic’s mobile ordering experience, where users could review the menu, place and customize orders, and travel through selection, customization, to payment and confirmation. As an extension of that objective, the team worked to showcase how the Sonic experience might unfold around those endeavors.
We thought of opportunities for Sonic® to appear throughout the customer journey.
We proposed integrating augmented reality and gamification components into their app, in one case, to discover the secret menu.
Another concept presented included giving away NFC keychains that attached to registered customer accounts. This would allow for compatible Sonic locations to ready orders, push notifications to nearby travelers, or welcome and suggest items based on previous user behavior.
